Currently I'm working as night porter in hotel. There's no IT technician in my work place and if there's any problem they need to call IT vendor where its cause them a lot of money. Last week the system was slow and there's no back. I've cleaned up the disk and fragmented and also create a system back up use mirrored volume which I studied last month. The manager was very impressed and considering to change my position to IT technician and has informed that want to increase my salary. Thanks skill train as I'm improving my knowledge in computer skill. I recently updated to mcse2003 & during the month end of February, I realised Microsoft was discontinuing support for most of the mcse2000 courses on the 31 st of March.that meant I had one month to revise before I took the 70-210 exam..I requested the revision kit which I got after 3 days, studied intensely for 3 weeks sat & passed my exam..am proud to be a Microsoft Certified Professional ID: 6132524 thanks to skills train. A wise man ones said, you come into this world to make a difference or remain a difference. I never had the fool understanding until now, as a domestic worker with so many limitations, I have been able to make a difference. With little or no time, I have been able to maintain constant TMA scores of about 90-100%. Following January and February when I passed 5 MCP exams, in March I managed to passed another 2. By doing this I have finished my MCSE studying. I have gained MCP/MCSA/MCSE qualifications with extraordinary good result. 6 out of 7 exams I have passed with more then 900 points and one exam with 895 points. Since starting this course at the beginning of January I have become 100% more confident about solving promblems and maintaining computers, I have even started some part time work for a company that repairs p.c's and laptops. I have also built a p.c for a friend to his specification, which I feel is a good achievement in itself, because 2 months ago I would have had no idea where to even start. So I think my biggest achievement so far would be, having the confidence to competently build and repair computers. First of all, I must admit I'VE COME A LONG WAY!!! Less than 6 months after taking up the MCSE course, I have successfully troubleshooted printer problems, as well as configured a small network of 10 workstations, making some little pocket change in the process. Despite having a pregnant wife and hectic work commitments I have suprised myself by working ahead of schedule often completing asignments before I get a response from the previous one. Some of the sections have been very challenging but I managed to overcome the obstacles by working through them. I have now just taken my first public exam and passed on first attempt. I have now acheived the status of Microsoft Certified Professional. I am now looking forward to the next part of the course. Just I wanted to let you know that I used the Skills Train Network+ study guides to prepare for the Network+ 2007 Edition exam. I passed on the first try without problem. I am highly recommending to all of my friends to join with skills Train because this computer training college provides Realistic, Fantastic and skillful course materials for getting success. In 2005 I started N+/MCSE course honestly I wasn't sure that I am doing good thing. At the beginning I wasn't eager to learn but week after week I used to gain more and more knowledge. I didn't noticed that after 11 months I finished N+ part of the course. So I attempt for N+ exam and passed with great result more than 85%. I was so surprised about my knowledge because I didn't believe in my abilities. After 3 weeks I received certificate and I started looking for a new IT related role. I believe I have achieved well since starting the course. Firstly when I started I thought I would not be able to have the self motivation to study enough to pass the tests, I am already acheiving more in my results than expected. Secondly I feel I am getting so much from the course I introduced a friend who is now also doing the same course as me, and he is very happy he chose to do it. Thirdly since starting the course I left my job doing meter reading which was really soul destroying for me, and was leaving me feeling depressed at the end of each day, and now I have just started a new position at Sony doing 1st line support to customers regarding electrical product connectivity. I feel this is a big step forward as later I May be able to gain a role as 1st line support in IT. I have added the knowledge I have learnt to my CV and I have had responses for jobs in IT, though I have not yet passed the first interview stage, I am getting experience in interviews that I might not have got before this course. Lastly and most importantly I feel my confidence in my learning ability has grown enormously and I feel I am finding the more I study and complete, the easier I am finding it to take in the information. I no longer feel depressed with problems or feel that I am not going anywhere. I feel really good about myself and this is the most rewarding thing for me. When I first started this course I was in a job that just involved in building pc's/servers. I wanted to expand my knowledge in computers and thats why I chose to do a MCSE course. Since doing this course I have gained a lot of knowledge and more confidence in the network and server side. With the knowledge I have learnt so far I have been able to change my job and I am now doing a helpdesk support role and when I have finished my course I will be moved to network technician. Before starting my course with Skillstrain I had always dreamed to become an IT Engineer in the future, so when I start MCSE course with skillstrain at the beginning I found it a bit far to reach my goal, but after completing my A+, N+ I thought I had found the goal I was looking for. I was working in Coopervision as a Production Operator, very recently they had a vacancy for general admin assistant, I thought let's try my luck here. Having completed my first section of the MCSE course, I am proud to have achieved 90% 98% 93% 80%. I was once given a choice of continuing my education or taking an opportunity at a career, I took what I thought to be an amazing opportunity I took the job, working as key member of a small digital print company.
